He's perfectly capable of being a moderator as history shows, he did a human thing to do which you would also do, if you had the power and were put in the same situation. Most of humans aren't capable of separating themselves from their emotions. First offense, good track of helping the community, let it go. The people who would decide if he's removed do the same thing as well, it's just a game of power dynamics and you just happen to be on the losing side right now. I know how it feels and the only solution is to obtain more power so that the cycle repeats itself.

This is absolutely not about what the moderator did in terms of down-votes which might be completely accurate. It's the way he acted that's the problem.

Damn. I wish I could see how many of these unanswered questions are actually "dumb" questions. Well, there's no such thing as a dumb question, really, everyone's gotta start somewhere, but some people lack the proper skill to word it correctly or present their issue in a good way, many times I find this to be harder than the question itself - how do I tell others what I have in mind? Can't imagine what it's gonna be like for a non-native english speaker.

Not sure why you got down-voted but I assume it's because of misunderstanding what the topic is about. I agree 100% with you, these questions are...eh, come on dude, you're a development Q&A site and you ask us about plugin recommendations? Go to your favorite "guru" to help you with that. The topic is about allowing developers to ask about how to write code aided by that plugin. In fact, I'll give you a thought experiment: WordPress' Gutenberg is split into packages which themselves are plugins. Should we allow them because they're into core? Who decides?
