woocommerce-offtopic isn't working

I was skeptic when the tag was renamed, and I still don't believe changing tag names will solve this issue. It's now halfway a meta tag, and that alone is concerning. Maybe we need a completely ...

"Your question should be specific to WordPress" (updated)

I would say suggested wording is too confusing between with the core and of the core. There are plenty questions that would be quite in scope, which have nothing to do with core. Those on server side ...

Are we sending mixed messages with so many off topic tags?

The problem here is that any user with a particular level of reputation can recreate the tags, so deleting them does not work. We've tried in the past, in particular with the WooCommerce tag, and it ...

"Your question should be specific to WordPress" (updated)

I think it's a bad decision to exclude plugins from the conversation here on stackexchange. The fact is, no WordPress site exists without plugins. Imagine if StackOverflow did the same? Someone asks ...
